Priyanka Chopra says she was amazed by the techniques involved in 'Gatka', a martial art from Punjab.

Priyanka has learnt Gatka for her role in her forthcoming film Drona.

"I was quite amazed at the techniques involved in gatka," she told reporters in Chandigarh.

"Gatka experts were especially hired and they were flown to Mumbai to help me learn the art," Priyanka said, adding ‘Drona' will be released next summer.

‘Drona' is a fantasy flick with heavy doses of action, adventure, drama and special effects.

The Goldie Behl-directed film will see Priyanka in the role of a bodyguard to Abhishek Bachchan.

Abhishek's role in the film is very unique but he doesn't play a superhero like Superman, Batman or Spiderman. However, Abhi has a lot of action sequences in the film.

Priyanka had earlier shown her martial arts skills in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Don.
